Automatic air admittance valve CAPRICORN 50-40, gray
Automatic air admittance valves are components of sewage systems that replace traditional ventilation pipes. This way, the stack ends inside the room or attic, saving materials (ventilation pipe, its casing when transitioning to the roof structure), reducing labor costs, maintaining the roof's airtightness, and avoiding the possibility of system freezing. When the pressure in the pipe is greater than or equal to the room pressure, the valve is closed and does not release odors from the sewage pipe into the room. When the pressure in the pipe decreases, the valve opens and allows air into the system.
