When showering, we can experience a shock from hot or cold water if we do not regulate it to the required temperature. Adjusting it mechanically can take several seconds. However, we can avoid this unpleasant start to showering by installing a thermostatic or self-regulating mixer. With such a mixer, the required water temperature only needs to be set once - at all other times, you only need to adjust the water flow strength. Even if the flow is turned off briefly and then turned back on, the water temperature will not have changed.
