The manual pipe calibrator is designed for the removal of the bevel from the cut ends of multi-layer pipes with aluminum foil.
Pipe calibration is necessary to properly shape the pipe end, remove sharp edges to avoid damaging the seals of crimped fittings. It also facilitates the connection between pipes and fittings.
