Glass is one of the best materials for making shower cabins, as it is strong and allows light to pass through well. However, due to its uneven surface (about 50,000 indentations per square centimeter) and chemical structure, natural glass is not resistant to water exposure. It retains moisture, and salts in the water settle on it, reducing the transparency of this material.
Due to intense water exposure, glass corrosion begins. The more the glass is affected by corrosion, the more dirt accumulates on it. Every day it becomes harder to clean, and the result is less satisfying. Glass is affected by corrosion even when using purified water (except distilled)
QUICK DROPS is a new technology that protects shower cabin glass from water exposure. It gives the material additional properties: the glass becomes scratch-resistant and is easy to clean.
Water remains on the glass due to a molecular force called surface tension.
By coating the surfaces, direct contact of molecules with the glass disappears. Drops turn into beads and flow away, as they are physically repelled from the surface.
The glass surface repels water and dirt, making it up to 90% easier to clean.
