DANFOSS RA-N 15 Thermostatic Valve, Angled
Pre-setting valves are used in two-pipe central heating systems. They ensure optimal water flow distribution in the heating system. The pre-setting function allows for precise adjustment of the calculated flow. No tools are required for pre-setting.
The thermostatic valve can be used with all RA 2000 and RAW series thermostatic heads and TWA-A actuators.
It can be used with radiators or convectors from all manufacturers with side connections. It can also be used in other locations of the heating system where regulation is needed.
The pre-setting values of RA-N valves can be easily and accurately adjusted without tools (manufacturer setting = N):
- Remove the protective cap or thermostatic head.
- Locate the reference mark.
- Lift and turn the set ring until the required pre-setting value aligns with the reference mark.
- The initial setting can be selected in steps from 1 to 7. The setting value N means that the valve is fully open. This setting can be used as a flushing position when dirt accumulated in the system needs to be flushed out. In one-pipe systems, the N setting must be used.
- When the RA-N thermostatic valve with pre-setting is installed on the supply pipe to the radiator, there is no need to install a return flow valve on the return pipe (e.g., RLV-S or similar).
