DANFOSS PE-Xa 18 x 2.0 mm (600 m) Underfloor Heating Pipe

Technical Specifications:

  • Outer pipe diameter: 18 mm;
  • Wall thickness: 2.0 mm

  • Maximum operating pressure: 6 bar
  • Color: yellow
  • Material: PE-Xa (made from natural plastic)
  • Advantages: the pipe is softer compared to pipes from other manufacturers, making installation easier.

  • Purpose: for underfloor heating

Features: with an oxygen diffusion barrier (EVOH). The oxygen diffusion barrier is not on the outside of the pipe, but inside the pipe, making it harder to damage.

Pipes without aluminum do not hold their bent shape, so it is recommended to secure them immediately with plastic straps or wires to the reinforcement mesh during installation. It is not recommended to install on uncut (without grooves) polystyrene foam.
