HENCO PE-Xc 16 x 2.0 mm Underfloor Heating Pipe (400 m)
The Henco 5L PE-Xc synthetic pipe is made up of five layers. It has an inner and outer layer of cross-linked polyethylene bonded with electron beams, which has been cross-linked using an electron beam EVOH oxygen barrier that meets DIN 4726, making this synthetic pipe suitable for heating systems. These three different layers are bonded together with two high-quality homogeneous bonding layers.
Technical Specifications:
- Outer pipe diameter: 16 mm;
- Wall thickness: 2.0 mm
- Maximum operating temperature: 95°
- Maximum operating pressure: 6 bar
- Color: yellow
- Material: PE-Xc (made from natural plastic)
- Advantages: the pipe is softer compared to pipes from other manufacturers, making installation easier.
- Packaging: 400 m
- Purpose: underfloor heating
Features: with an oxygen diffusion barrier (EVOH). The oxygen diffusion barrier is not on the outside of the pipe but inside the pipe, making it harder to damage.
Pipes without aluminum do not retain their bent shape, so it is recommended to secure them immediately with plastic straps or wires to the reinforcement mesh during installation. It is not recommended to install on uncut (without grooves) polystyrene foam.
