The built-in programmable room thermostat is designed for those who want to set their desired temperature, see the actual temperature, and change the temperature throughout the day. It can also be connected to cooling and a floor sensor.
The "Danfoss Icon2™ room thermostat is designed to fit any interior. That’s why Danfoss consciously decided to make it similar to the finishes of conventional switch frames. The unused room thermostat screen turns off and effectively becomes invisible. When the screen is touched, it immediately comes to life and shows the actual room temperature.
If the "Danfoss Icon2™" room thermostat fits into a built-in mounting box, we recommend choosing the wall-mounted (built-in) model. Its depth is only 11 mm, and the dimensions of the square-shaped housing are 80 x 80 mm, making it easily blend into the interior design.

The Danfoss Icon™ room thermostat is designed to fit any interior. That’s why Danfoss consciously decided to make it similar to the finishes of conventional switch frames.
Wall-mounted or on-wall?
If the Danfoss Icon™ room thermostat fits into a built-in mounting box, we recommend choosing the wall-mounted model. Its depth is only 11 mm, and the dimensions of the square-shaped housing are 80 x 80 mm, making it easily blend into the interior design.
The on-wall mounted model is the best choice when there is no mounting box or its dimensions are unsuitable. Its depth is only 25 mm, and the dimensions of the square-shaped housing are 86 x 86 mm, so this model does not protrude more than a standard light switch.
