Automatic balancing valve DANFOSS AB-QM DN 20
These are pressure-independent automatic flow limiters and regulating valves in one, capable of regulating temperature at low loads and maintaining it at a uniform level throughout the system, limiting the maximum flow. At the same time, they function as regulating valves controlled by several different types of Danfoss actuators.
The AB-QM valve can be precisely set to the design flow value, thus ensuring complete control under real system operating conditions. The flow limits for AB-QM valves are 30-41,000 l/h.
Applications: automatic temperature control, automatic flow regulation, and constant automatic flow balancing in terminal units (air ventilation units, heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems, controlling individual line branches, etc.).
This is a modern solution that allows achieving and maintaining hydraulic balance in every heating system. The AB-QM creates a constant heating comfort in the building regardless of system pressure fluctuations. Once the automatic balancing and regulating valve is installed, flow setting becomes quick, easy, and accurate. As the flow decreases, the return flow temperature drops, and the system operates significantly more efficiently, saving energy.
With the installation of the automatic balancing and regulating valve AB-QM, the flow of the stairwell riser is balanced. Additionally, flow setting with the AB-QM is very quick, easy, and accurate. A thermostatic element (QT) is mounted on the AB-QM. It measures the return temperature in this riser and automatically adjusts the flow throughout the system. As the flow decreases, the return flow temperature drops, and the system operates significantly more efficiently, saving energy.
