Automatic air vent FLAMCO Flexvent 1/2”, with check valve, straight
The automatic air vent is designed for automatic air removal from closed heating systems according to EN 12828.
The air vents are suitable for use in systems up to 10 bar / 90 °C, filled with water or water/glycol mixture (up to 50% glycol).
The compact, tested design features high efficiency and guaranteed heating and air conditioning performance.
The water in the device contains air, which can cause corrosion and reduce heat transfer. Flexvent is installed in places where air collects.
Using a float, air is collected into the Flexvent, causing the float to drop and the air release valve to open. Then, water pressure pushes the air out, the float rises, and the valve closes.
The air cushion located at the top of each Flexvent protects the valve seat from contamination.
Other advantages:
- With a protective cap, including expansion sealing rings to prevent leakage.
- Large distance between water and closing mechanism, reducing the likelihood of contamination.
- Most types are equipped with a closing valve for easier installation and removal.
- Due to its very small dimensions, Flexvent float ventilation can be easily adapted to any device.
- Relatively large air cushion located at the top of each type of Flexvent float ventilation sufficiently protects the valve seat from contamination, preventing Flexvent from leaking.
- To ensure the highest quality, we test all Flexvents before they leave our facility!
