Description

Stainless steel sink REGINOX Miami 50 copper L (copper), R30738

Technical specifications:

  • Installation: Integrated;
  • External dimension: 540x 440 mm;
  • Depth 200 mm;
  • Minimum cabinet width: 600 mm;
  • Includes valve 3.5".
  • Maintenance of stainless steel colored (Regi-Color) and PVD products.

Stainless steel is a metal alloy whose main elements are chromium and nickel. The manufacturer uses this material as the basis for its REGI color and PVD products. By following the maintenance tips, you can enjoy your sink for even longer. If the sink is handled carefully, it will maintain its quality and appearance for a longer time. Below you will find tips on how to use "Reginox" products for a longer time.

Cleaning sinks with color coating:

For daily maintenance, it is recommended to use a neutral pH cleaner or clean lukewarm water, adding mild soap if necessary, to remove coffee, tea, and grease residues. After cleaning, dry the sink to prevent limescale deposits. If limescale deposits do form, we recommend removing them with Regi-Clean limescale remover. For further maintenance, we recommend "Regi-Clean Oil-Coating".

Protection against damage: scratches and/or dents. Since the sink is used every day, light scratches and dents are inevitable. The sink can be damaged if handled too roughly or carelessly. Care should be taken when placing items in the sink. Do not throw cutlery or other heavy items into the sink. This can cause irreparable damage to the coating or PVD layer, making the stainless steel visible.

Avoid heat. Never place hot pans directly into the sink. Always use a mat.

Damage from chemicals. The sink's coating or PVD layer can be damaged by strong chemicals. If the surface is exposed to strong chemicals for a long time, blisters may form, causing the color coating or PVD to peel off and damage the base material. This means that the sink's coating or PVD layer is not resistant to acid. It is recommended that the sink does not come into contact with the following chemicals:

  • cleaning agents containing hypochlorite;
  • cleaning agents containing chlorine;
  • silver or copper lacquer;
  • citrus juice, salt, vinegar, mustard, pickles, or onions left on the surface for an extended period. These foods can cause corrosion and rust;
  • strong acids, such as dental cleaners, etc.;
  • using steel wool for cleaning;
  • S39 soldering water from plumbers;
  • hydrochloric acid for cleaning wall tiles;
  • regeneration salt for dishwasher water softening;
  • cleaners for drains;
  • However, prolonged exposure to diluted acids, salts, and alkaline solutions (both from the user's front side and the underside in vapor form) can also affect the coating or PVD layer on the front user side and the underside made of stainless steel. Therefore, it is advisable to regularly clean the countertop, especially knowing that it will not be used for an extended period.

If the coated material comes into contact with such products, please:

  • immediately and thoroughly rinse the affected surface with clean water;
  • after cleaning, wipe with lukewarm water and mild soap;
  • damage caused can sometimes be removed using the "Reginox" correction pencil (not PVD). It is only used for minor damage and, unfortunately, will not be invisible.
  • never cut anything on the sink surface: this will cause irreparable scratches to the coating or PVD layer. Always use a cutting board.
  • pushing hard materials (porcelain dishes, steel pans, etc.) back and forth on the bottom of the sink can damage the coating or PVD layer.
  • do not throw cutlery or other heavy items into the sink and against the side of the sink or edge. This can cause irreparable damage to the coating or PVD layer.
  • do not remove the sealant around the sink.
