SWP N 300 water heater with one large surface heat exchanger Sunsystem
Volume water heater SWP N 150 with one large surface heat exchanger. Designed for use in heat pump systems or when a large amount of hot water is required.
Hot drinking water is aggressive when interacting with black steel. To protect the tank from corrosion, it must be insulated from hot drinking water. All Sunsystem water heaters are internally coated with titanium enamel. It is fired and becomes smooth and glossy. As a result, hot water remains clean and the tank is protected from corrosion.
The quality of the water heater's insulation is a crucial factor in ensuring heat retention and energy efficiency. All Sunsystem standing water heaters up to 500 liters in volume are externally protected using 50 mm thick PPU rigid polyurethane foam insulation from the global leader BASF. All larger volume water heaters are equipped with removable 100 mm thick PPU flexible polyurethane foam insulation.
All Sunsystem black steel enamelled water heaters are also equipped with a second layer of corrosion protection - a soluble magnesium anode. The anode protection works in two ways:
Reduces the electrical potential in the tank
Creates a protective film on the metal surface, thus protecting the tank from contact with water
An inspection/cleaning flange is installed at the lower part of the water heater. In certain models, the location for the electric heating element is provided in the blind flange of the enamelled steel.
