CB20-60H soldered plate heat exchanger, code 3287000018, 1st degree, designed for hot water, heating.
The purpose of the heat exchanger is to transfer the heat of the primary flow to the secondary flow through heat exchange plates, without mixing the flows.
The choice of heat exchanger depends on the required thermal power, temperatures, and allowable pressure losses.
Soldered plate heat exchangers have been designed to operate at higher pressure and temperature.
Smaller dimensions of soldered plate heat exchangers result in more efficient heat exchange.
The latest generation of Alfa Laval copper soldered plate heat exchangers – CB series – features smaller dimensions and higher thermal performance. We can offer a full range with various plate patterns and connections suitable for all HVAC applications.
Features of soldered heat exchangers:
- Small footprint and weight, about 10-20% of the size of a traditional tubular heat exchanger.
- Resistance to high temperature and pressure. Excellent fatigue resistance.
