Usage
“Antifreeze Protector Alphi-11” is a combined agent designed to protect the heating system from freezing, internal corrosion, and the formation of deposits. It prevents corrosion of various metals (ferrous metal, copper, copper alloys, aluminum) and protects parts of the heating system made from other materials.
It is recommended to check the antifreeze concentration and freezing temperature once a year. The check should be performed using the Fernox concentration determination kit “Protector Test Kit” and a refractometer.
Technical specifications
Composition: monopropylene glycol. Odor: mild. Appearance: colorless liquid. pH of concentrated product 6.9. pH of 25% solution 6.4 – 7.4. Specific gravity 1.04 (20ºC).
Method of use and dosage
To properly protect the heating system from corrosion, it is recommended to prepare a solution of at least 25% strength. In this case, the system will be protected from freezing at temperatures down to -11ºC. A 40% strength solution protects against freezing at temperatures down to -22ºC. Pour the protective agent into the system through a radiator or another suitable filling point. Before that, drain as many liters of water from the system as planned to be poured in with the protective agent. Turn on the circulation pump and allow the system to operate in normal mode for several hours to ensure even distribution of the protective agent.

25% protects down to -11ºC
30% protects down to -15ºC
35% protects down to -18ºC
40% protects down to -22ºC
It is recommended to fill the protective agent only into a clean system, as contaminants present can damage heating equipment. A dirty system should first be flushed with the cleaner “Cleaner F3” and thoroughly rinsed to remove dirt and other contaminants.
Packaging, precautions
The agent “Antifreeze Protector Alphi-11” is packaged in 5 l and 25 l containers. The agent is classified as non-hazardous to health and non-irritating, but, like other chemical agents, should be kept out of reach of children. Do not mix with other chemical products (except Fernox products). For external use only. May cause allergic reactions. Contains 1,2-benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one. In case of contact with skin or eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water.
