Product Usage
The "Leak Sealer F4" is used to seal small internal cracks and leaks in the heating system that have opened due to loose connections. The product works best in warm water and evenly distributed in the system seals leaks within 1 – 24 hours.
This product is designed to seal only the problematic areas where there is a leak. However, it is IMPORTANT to dose the leak sealant properly. For sealing leaks in a system with a volume of 100 liters, 1 bottle (500 ml) of sealant is needed. If the recommended concentration of sealant is exceeded by 2 or more times, there is a risk that the sealant may seal areas of the system where such an effect is undesirable (e.g., the pump, filter, safety device, etc.).
To permanently protect the sealed heating system from corrosion and deposits, it is recommended to add a protective additive "Protector F1" to it.
Technical Data
Composition: polymer emulsion. Color: very light, almost white. Smell: very faint. Form: liquid. pH of concentrated product 5.0 - 7.0. pH of solution 7.85. Specific gravity 1.0 (20°C).
Dosing and Method of Use
500 ml of leak sealant is sufficient for a heating system with a volume of 100 liters (up to 10 radiators).
Pour the sealant through the radiator (on the upper floor).
Turn on the heating system. Ensure that the circulation pumps of the heating system are working.
The sealant works most effectively in a warm system, so if possible, at least minimally heat the water circulating in the system.
Precautions
The product is not harmful to health, but like all chemical products, keep out of reach of children. If it comes into contact with skin or eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water.
The "Leak Sealer F4" can be used simultaneously with other Fernox products.
