Product Application
This product is designed for use in systems equipped with Fernox TF1 filters or similarly functioning filters from other manufacturers (cyclone + magnet).
The "F1 Filter Fluid + Protector" is a dual-action agent. The dispersive substances in its composition prevent contaminants and corrosion products present in the heating system from settling, lift them, and direct them straight to the filter, where they remain until cleaned. Additionally, this agent protects the heating system from corrosion and sludge formation.
The agent protects metals (ferrous metals, copper, copper alloys, aluminum, etc.) from the corrosion-causing chemical reaction that occurs when metals come into contact with water. The "F1 Filter Fluid + Protector" is suitable for all types of boilers, radiators, underfloor heating, and other types of heating systems. With the help of this agent, in heating systems equipped with the TF1 filter (or a similar filter from another manufacturer), the system water is continuously cleaned, meaning that corrosion products are more easily removed from it.
The "F1 Filter Fluid + Protector" is suitable for all metals and plastics used in heating devices and equipment. It can be used simultaneously with other Fernox products.
The combination of the TF1 filter and the "F1 Filter Fluid + Protector" in some cases replaces a complete chemical flushing of the heating system. This solution is suitable when, due to installation nuances, it is impossible to properly flush the heating system, when the system is not heavily contaminated, or when it has not been flushed before starting operation or after installing the boiler.

The "F1 Filter Fluid + Protector" is a mixture of corrosion and sludge inhibitors and dispersive substances. Form: liquid. Odor: mild. Color: brown. pH of concentrated product 8.0. pH of solution 7.0 – 8.0. Specific gravity 1.15 (20°C).
Usage Method and Dosage
It is recommended to use a 0.5% working solution. 500 ml of "F1 Filter Fluid + Protector" concentrate is sufficient to protect a heating system with a volume of 100 liters. The protective agent is poured through the TF1 filter, radiator, manifold, drain valve, or boiler outlet. Then, circulation is turned on to evenly distribute the agent throughout the heating system. The "F1 Filter Fluid + Protector" dislodges contaminants present in the water and directs them to the filter. It is recommended to regularly check and clean the filter of accumulated contaminants.
If the heating system is heavily contaminated or has not yet been operated, it is recommended to flush it with the "Cleaner F3" or "Cleaner F5" before installing the TF1 filter and filling it with the "F1 Filter Fluid + Protector" additive.
During the annual inspection of the heating system, it is recommended to check the concentration of the "F1 Filter Fluid + Protector" additive.

The agent is non-hazardous to health, but like other chemical agents, keep out of reach of children, do not mix with other chemical agents. May cause allergic reactions. Contains 1,2-benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one.
